The kitties seem to be settling in well... both of them hide under the couch while we are traveling (which is probably not a bad idea, since sometimes unexpected things crash to the floor). Tabitha stays under the couch most of the time during the day also, which isn't all that different from her behavior at home where she would also hide most of the time except at night. Miss Kitty is often out and about, though she is shy about meeting folks.
