It was exciting to be in New Kent for the election where one of our friends was running for Sheriff.

We were privileged to be given a tour of the house and the facilities by Mrs Fisher, who had babysat for Jimmy and me when we were little. If I remember the family history correctly, I was supposed to be a flower girl in her wedding, but refused... I was a headstrong little girl.
