We drove from the Finger Lakes area of NY to near Hartford, CT, today - with the plan to visit one of Dwayne's former co-workers - Mike and his family.
It was a long day's drive, but what a wonderful time with the Verret's this evening! Delicious ka-bobs on the grill along with chips and salsas and couscous. S'Mores followed, and then Mike entertained us with a fireworks display. Neither Dwayne or Patti had ever had "home fireworks" (other than sparklers and Pharoah's serpent or black snake) - so it was a distinct treat for us!
