Seeing the results of one's labor...

A lady that I have come to know on campus came through the area by the Welcome Desk a couple of weeks ago... she had noticed the New Testaments that were on display in the lobby and wondered if the New Testaments that she had been privileged to work on were there. She had worked in Niger, and knew that 3 New Testaments have been completed. We looked on the shelves and did not see the country of "Niger" listed, but when I looked up Niger in the printed list of the copies displayed, it indicated that two were there. We thought that they might be behind the wooden part of the doors and not able to be seen, but... I got a step stool and went up to be able to see the shelf...

...and there they were - not quite behind the wooden part of the door.

Since Niger only has two New Testaments on display, there wasn't a country label on the shelf, but the New Testaments are there!

In Fulfulde and Tamajaq!

She was happy to see these, and promised to find out if the 3rd New Testament has been published and try to ensure that we have a copy!

What a blessing to see the fruits of one's labor!
