She was down to about 1/4 tank - we were waiting until we got into Quebec and closer to Quebec City because GasBuddy indicated that we could get diesel fuel about 8 cents less per liter than what we were finding on PEI or New Brunswick.
Today was the day to fill up, and make an "investment" in the fuel company here:
That's in Canadian dollars and liters. |
CAN$638.45 = US$494.24
about US$2.89/gallon
We might make it to US before we fill up again!
Soon after we entered Quebec yesterday, we passed an exit for an interesting place - Dwayne took a picture but I didn't get it until today:
That's "Saint-Louis-du-Ha!Ha!" |
Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint-Louis-du-Ha!_Ha!) says that a ha-ha is an unexpected barrier - and may refer to Lake Temiscouata. It also says that this is the only town with two exclamation points in its name.
