Maintenance around the campground

We saw a couple of large tanker trucks drive past our campsite yesterday.  They headed down the hill to another section of the campground.

One of them came back up the hill and started pumping out the septic system (I guess).

There were folks there working on it for much of the day - noonish until evening (this is evening, and I was on top of the bus)...

The almost full moon was rising in the east...

And the sun setting in the west.
We had noticed an unpleasant odor at times near our campsite, depending on the wind direction... sometimes other RVers are not careful about their dumping, so we just thought it could be that, but maybe there were other problems going on... it definitely seems to smell fresher outside today.

Unfortunately, this morning, the water is off... we thought it may have to do with the septic things yesterday, but a neighbor said that she called the staff and they said that someone hit the "water pole"... whatever that may be! I had been thinking this last week that it was surprising that there are not many circumstances when someone damages someone else's rig, with the sites being relatively close and sometimes inexperienced folks driving them.

The good news is that our fresh tank is full, so we can do without "city water" for a while... I was planning to do some laundry today, but will put that off until another day!
