Chameleon paint

While we were at Palm Springs, we noticed a vehicle that had quite a fancy paint job:

The color changes!

The lady who owns the vehicle said that she did a lot of searching to find a used one to purchase. She said that a difficulty is that it is really hard to get it repainted - she said that, in the neighborhood where she lives (somewhere in Washington state, I think), folks get their jollies by "keying" cars. She took it in to have some damage repaired and I think she said that the first guy told her that he really couldn't do it, and the guy who finally did the paint job did not match it well. She said that the option on the car was pretty expensive (I think she said $12K!!!) and just a small quantity of paint (to do touch-ups) was in the hundreds of dollars. Pretty, but pricey!
