We decided to visit the Flea Market Wednesday morning... after a brief stop to get a couple of items at the Big Tent, we crossed the road to the Flea Market / Rock Sale.
I noticed that one of the vendors had a Blue Bird! |
It was pretty empty in the Flea Market area... a lot of the vendors weren't open yet - we got there at about 9:30am. The Big Tent opens at 9am, but it seemed that the Flea Market area might be more like 10am really getting going. |
One of the vendors had doggie hats - with his dogs modeling them! |
I saw a couple of cute teeshirts... From what I've heard, getting your mail from General Delivery at the Quartzsite Post Office is quite the ordeal - they only allow folks to pick it up for one hour a day, and when that hour is up, even if you're the next in line, it is no luck for you! |
This looks SO much like Tabitha! "By the time I'm thin, FAT will be in!" |
Back at the Birds' nest - Wednesday's activities. |
I thought the top item was so funny - Tuesday evening, Rick was announcing that Marvin had been sold to Chris and Monica... and asked them to stand up... but it turned out that their names were Paul and Veronica! He had previously written the "Congrats Chris" on the board... so today it was just amended to include Paul and Veronica! |
Long time readers may remember that our first RV was named "Miss Daisy". There is a Blue Bird here for sale named "Driving Miss Daisy"... |
She is a beautiful bus -- hint, hint (I'm looking at you, Sherie and Kory!!!) |
Lots of things already done on her! We talked with a guy who knows a bit about the bus - the owners wanted a more classic looking Blue Bird and so have bought an older one. Though there are many things listed, he said that Tami did even more on the interior of the bus. Anybody out there interested???? |
