The KVH TracVision L3 on the roof of Miss Doozie... |
Connectors... |
It takes up all of the space between the walk rails... |
Wires trail off toward the front... |
When I was taking pictures, I noticed that it seems to have a serial number on the base plate. |
We have the documentation for it in our BlueBird Box... (like an airline pilot's case of books). |
Information seems to imply that it was purchased 16 years ago (1/28/02). |
Some of the information from the manual... |
Some more information from the manual. |
We installed the L3 on our coach in June of 2002 when we bought the coach. My reason for posting this blog entry is to provide this information to my nephew in Virginia to ask if he knows of any use that he or anyone he knows might have for it. Or... any of my other blog readers!
That is an "in-motion" system. Meaning you can watch TV somewhere in the coach while moving down the road. It has come in handy a few times while traveling with our grandchildren. They are good units. Not HD. But ours has worked well for nearly 16 years. Since we are not TV fanatics, we never cared about HD anyway. But it's sure nice to be able to watch the weather channel for impending storms, etc. And also get the news about important issues.
We happen to have Directv and have no issues with reception anywhere in the country.
