Jimmy and Regina's church works in a produce patch here on the farm. At this point, kale and collards are growing and producing every couple of weeks, cabbage will soon be making heads, and yellow and
zucchini squash will be coming along soon too. Several folks from the church came to pick greens on last Monday evening and Dwayne and I took the greens up to Feed More on Tuesday.

The folks at Feed More always seem to appreciate the fresh produce. They provide food to various organizations around the city who provide feeding services to those in need. They are doing renovations in the front of the building where we would normally drop off the donation, so we had to go to the back where the folks pick up the food. When I backed the vehicle up the ramp, one of the helpers opened the back and said, "Why, you're already full!" I guess he thought we were picking up! They were happy to receive the greens and I'm sure they were taken by folks picking up in short order.
