And... the air bags are being installed

On Friday, 3 packages were delivered - they were 2 drive axle airbags and 1 tag axle. We were thinking that they wouldn't want to start on the installation until *all* the airbags had arrived, but when we checked with Henderson's Monday morning, they let us know that they wanted to start right away! So, we hurriedly unhooked and pulled out from the Overniters campground and got Miss Doozie to Henderson's!
I wanted to get the part numbers off the air bags so took pictures of the tops... unfortunately, the number that I see does not correlate with any other values I have found previously!

The tag axle air bag

I think the FedEx guy was wondering why the woman in the motorhome was jumping up and down and clapping as he took 6 boxes into the shop.

We were praying that the one that is late would be a front one so all the rear ones would be in hand - and that is exactly what occurred! There are 2 tag, 4 drive, and 3 front air bags here.

Pete "belting" the airbag so it can be put into place.

Cody and Pete working under Miss Doozie on the "sunny" side of the rig.

After they finished on the "sunny" side, they moved around to the "dark" (shady) side. They also pulled us out of the bay so we could stay here for the night.

Two of the drive axle airbags - one belted to collapse for installation (I think).

I met up with our friend Johana who was out with their sweet Australian Shepherd, Bella. When we came over near the bus, Bella ran right up under the bus where Pete and Cody were working... I thought she wanted to help, but, she knew that Pete was the source of dog treats!!! She knows who the important folks are!
The last airbag has spent many hours just south of Seattle - it was scanned as in transit at Puyallup, WA on Sunday at 1:48pm, again at 1:57am on Monday and 3:34pm on Monday. At 5:48pm on Monday it was indicated as "Arrived at FedEx Location" in Tacoma, WA - I don't know what the difference is between "In Transit" and "Arrived at".

And, just how would you pronounce Puyallup? it looks like "I'm going to pull y'all up" to me... wikipedia says pew-AL-əp or pew-AWL-əp...

The information associated with the tracking number still says it should arrive by end of day on Tuesday... since the airport is Seattle/Tacoma, I'm wondering if it may be flown down for its last leg. If it gets to Central Point, OR by morning, FedEx usually delivers before noon here, so... we're hopeful that we may be traveling southward by Wednesday!

Tuesday morning update: I was a bit depressed this morning when I read a notification from FedEx overnight that the package was delayed until Wednesday. But they sent me another update just after 7am that it will be delivered today! It made up great time/distance traveling from Tacoma through Troutdale, OR, and arrived in Central Point, OR in time this morning to make it onto the delivery truck coming to Grants Pass! Thankful!!!
