Some random pictures from the last few days...

Who knew? |
|
Does it look like a piece of cake? It is actually a wedge of Rogue River Blue cheese (from Rogue Creamery, the cheese made from the milk produced on the dairy farm we visited last week). It is wrapped with leaves (I can't remember the type - maybe grape?) that have been soaked in pear brandy. It is indeed yummy! |

We visited the Fall Festival of River Valley Community Church on Tuesday evening. They had a "toddler maze" made out of cardboard boxes, with holes cut between boxes just the size for a toddler to crawl through. I thought it was a neat idea. (They also had lots of other games and food and things to do.) |

After spending the week at Henderson's, we moved to Rogue Valley Overniters for several nights. There was a kayak next to the site we were assigned to park in... the host assured me that the owners of the kayak would be coming to pick it up shortly. I was glad to hear that; I thought maybe we were in danger of having enough rain to need to be allocated a kayak to navigate the streets of the campground! |

Grants Pass has a sign over one of the main streets that seems to be its motto... |
|
"Grants Pass - It's the Climate" |
I looked up information - evidently this sign was hung in 1920(!!!!).
