In Illinois, almost to Iowa

We decided to break the drive to Moscow, Iowa from Clinton, Indiana, into two days, so we're stopped for the night at Walmart in Galesburg, Illinois.

I couldn't resist getting a "Next Generation Insect Killer" for the flies that seem to find their way in to the rig... who knows whether it will work or not, but... it was on clearance, it has a built-in LED flashlight, and it is 3-in-1 - what more could you ask for????

As we were heading back to the rig, it started sprinkling, but the sun was still out too... so Miss Doozie was overlooking a beautiful rainbow. It actually was a double one - you can barely see the second one to the right of the first - it ends in a tree across the field.

I *think* that might be a millet field across the street from us!
We received sad news today that Dwayne's former father-in-law, Bill, passed away today. He had been having issues over the past few weeks, so it was not unexpected, but sad nonetheless.

We also lost one of our axle covers today - on the right tag. This was one of the ones that we had had specially made. We guess that the "bell" part was not deep enough, as the beauty ring is still on the wheel. BUMMER!
