Some "critters"

An evening a couple of weeks ago, I got pictures of a couple of the "critters" who are less tame around here:
The deer are becoming more tame than they probably ought to be - they seem to accept that we're around while they are feeding in the early evening. At least the evening of this picture they were in the pasture just outside the produce patch rather than in it!

You might be able to see "Grey cat" under the wagon - his white fur under his neck is showing up... he is still quite cautious to be around any humans, but doesn't seem to be as concerned about the tractors moving around.
After I posted the pictures of Barn Cat a couple of weeks ago (http://trekincartwrights.blogspot.com/2017/06/barn-cat.html), she went missing almost the very next day. She has been gone for a few weeks now, we haven't seen any sign of her... so we suspect that something made off with her.

Since Barn Cat went missing, one of Ricky and Kendra's cats, Dallas, came over to visit and mooch food and/or milk for a few days a couple of weeks ago.

"Missie" saying, "Where's my milk?!?!?"

There are so many pretty dragonflies around but I don't seem to have the ability to get a very good picture of any of them...

"Mister" is looking for his milk too!
Some kind of "critter" got into the sweet corn in the garden...

They made a pretty complete mess...

Even with temporary fencing around the garden, they still got in and tore down most of the crop. Jimmy seems to think that it looks like raccoons as they took the ears of corn even before they were ready and just shredded the ears. Considering how good fresh sweet corn is, it was very sad to me!

Jimmy cut out the stalks that had been damaged and the dairy cows got some of them (we carried some over to the teenagers too). So, I guess the cows were happy...

"Doofus" was trying a bit of the corn leaves and stalk.
