Some last pictures around Grants Pass

We are preparing to start again on our southward journey today (Wednesday)... but before we do, I thought I would share some last pictures from Grants Pass...
This is an intersection up north of town near the campground where we stayed (Rogue Valley Overniters). The two lanes on the right are coming off of I-5 exit ramp, and the lanes we were in came from under I-5. As you can see, the lanes are allowed to "go" at different times, so the right lanes can turn left in front of our lanes, and our lanes could turn right in front of the exit ramp lanes. Beyond the light the 4 lanes are just 3 - so no issues with merging either.

The Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Collection Center opened on Monday here at Henderson's showroom...

Edgewater Church brought a van full of shoeboxes yesterday!

So I was able to do some helping with pre-sorting - learning another step in the process of the Shoebox journey!

When I returned outside, Rich was flying his drone and Dwayne was filming...

Geoff got his drone out too and flew it over to where I was! "Hi Drone!"

We made a last stop at Yumberry Bowl (we had earned a free bowl - *had* to take advantage of that!!!).

This morning, the American flag was blowing over the showroom building at just the perfect speed and angle from our vantage at the bus. Beautiful clouds too - may be some rain today as we drive...

Most of the workers here at Henderson's came in for a meeting this morning - we (Dwayne) helped out by making some biscuits and gravy which they seemed to appreciate!
We're glad to get going on our southward journey, but, to some extent, sorry to leave this place and these great folks who feel like family members now! We're glad to know these folks and have been able to be here!!
