A hike up Q Hill

On Saturday, we decided to join some other folks from the Bluebird group on a hike up the Q hill.
Events/Announcements for Saturday for the Bluebird Birds of a Feather
Dwayne and I got a little lost getting to there, but we eventually found the starting point for the hike with the other folks from our group. Don Bradner was our instigator and guide!

From the top we could see an abandoned mine...
A more close-up view of the mine.

The Jeep is parked *way* down there!

All set to take the picture!
"Get ready to smile!"
Don's picture of us with our fellow Bluebird hikers!

Somewhere out there is Miss Doozie!!!

The "Big Tent" with the masses of people attending on the first day. We got in to some of the traffic around it as we had to pass by that way to get to the base of the hill.

There were both the US and Arizona flags flying on the flagpole.

Don loaned us his wonderful hiking sticks which *really* helped on the way down!

Can you see people and the flag up there? That's where we were!
