Tuesday - Facials and Campground information

I had gone to Aveda Institute and had gotten a facial when we were in Las Vegas before Quartzsite. I enjoyed it so much that I had sent an email to the folks coming to this "Rally after Q" to see if anyone was interested in getting facials. Several ladies were interested, so I had scheduled two groups to go on Tuesday - a smaller group in the morning, and a larger group in the afternoon. I went in the morning with one other lady (two others backed out) - we had such a good time! We decided to stay and get our hair cut too - she just had a trim, but I got mine cut to a cute bob!
Tuesday's agenda
Gathering in the late afternoon to head to the buffet at Sam's Town next door...

Post facials - Tina and Patti - and post hair cut for Patti!

Some pictures around the campground...
Dwayne's new pegboard on the inside of the wet-bay door!
This is a picture of a portion of the KOA campground map where we are staying. I have read reviews of some campgrounds that will indicate that they must be a former KOA campground based on how the utilities are set up. Note that where we are located (circled) that two rigs are next to each other in pull-thrus sharing the utility area. This works ok in pull thru's (particularly when we don't have slides) - but if you can see the sites along the perimeter - they are green and pink and also have one utility pole indicated between them...

This is the first time I ever remember seeing a "Pull-in" site listed - usually along the perimeter there are all back-in sites, but then there are utility areas for each individual site. Here, you could back in, but then you'd need to run your utilities under the RV to the power/water/sewer, and your door would be right next to your neighbor's RV.
Looking down the row on the edge of the campgound - you may be able to see a Class C RV that is pulled in to its site with its front facing the outside wall of the campground. This works for motor homes, but can't work for trailers or 5th wheels.

This is the utility area between Miss Doozie and the Blue Bird next to us.
I guess it saves the campground somewhat in initial setup costs as well as maybe on maintenance as well. As I said, it is fine for pull-thru's but rather inconvenient for sites on the edges. But... I guess it works well enough that people stay here!
