Friday - return to Yuma

We had a long drive ahead of us so were up relatively early (for us) and away by 8:30am Pacific time.
The chairs in the empty site that we used as our gathering space in the campground were slowly migrating to the coaches to which they belonged...

The Jee-rage is hooked up and all is ready to go!

We would be losing an hour when we crossed in to Arizona, and knew we had about 6 hours of driving ahead of us.

When we were driving up to Las Vegas, we passed a spot that I noticed on satellite view had interesting "things" on the desert floor:
Don't those spirals look odd?

Google Map Satellite view of area around Lye Road and US 95 in California
I had looked up the location on my phone and thought I got the address to put in as a waypoint on the Garmin... but the address I got was not the right location and we again passed this place without taking a closer look at it to try to determine what those spirals are! Bummer!!!

We passed through Quartzsite on our way to Yuma - there are still a lot of RVs out in the desert in and around Quartzsite!

After a little over 6 hours of driving (a LONG drive in a day for us!), we arrived in "our" place at Cactus Blossom RV Retreat. We will be here about a month, we think! Lots of things on our to-do list!

God painted a beautiful sunset in the sky!

A little later - with reflection on Miss Doozie's side. No retouching of colors!

And yet a little later - gorgeous!
