Fires in our area

Though there have been fires in the states we've been in (Colorado and Utah, particularly), we haven't had any very close to us since we drove around the Enchanted Circle in New Mexico... until today...
At first I thought that there was a storm brewing...

The clouds south and east of us were very threatening, but Steve let me know that it was smoke.
Thankfully it is not bad at the ground level where we are so we can still enjoy sitting outside - Steve has gone over to check in a new guest. At least one RV came in on Thursday leaving the area where the fires were threatening.

Jan got back from picking up Nancy at the airport in Salt Lake Cty - and Tye (the dog) was THRILLED that his Mom was home!

A picture of the other Miss Kitty who is here with us - Jan and Smitty's kitty. Earlier in the day I had brought our Miss Kitty out - our Miss Kitty was crying piteously and the Smith's Miss Kitty just hissed at her! She was making TOO much noise!!!
Jan and Smitty plan to leave on Friday and were planning to drive down US 93 at Wells. We got a notification on our phones that 93 was closed between Wells and Lages Junction due to the fire, but we've been praying that they will gain control over the fire and the road will re-open so they can travel through.
