After baling the hay, ideally the hay would be delivered to the folks who want to purchase it so it can use their storage instead of storage at the farm. So... we "helped" making a few deliveries while we were there.
The big truck was used to make the deliveries that we assisted on... it was loaded with the bales of alfalfa hay after the days of making hay. The first delivery wanted half alfalfa and half orchard grass, so the first order of business was to take the alfalfa off of the truck so Jimmy could put the orchard grass on that she wanted.
I was trying to get videos of the equipment working, so I climbed up on the truck and had a birds-eye view of the grapple working.

The orchard grass was still on the trailer where it had been loaded out of the field a few days before.

It is hard to see the location of the bales when picking them up off the trailer or truck - when picking them up in the field, they are on the ground, and it is easy to see their configuration from the tractor seat. When they are on the trailer or truck, they are often above the view of the tractor operator, especially the ones that are on the far side of the pile.
