Regina milks her Jersey cows twice a day - and then uses the milk for multiple projects - she makes butter, makes the raw milk available to folks who want/need raw milk, keeps colostrum (in the freezer) in case there are any orphaned calves that may need it, and makes milk soap - not to mention using the cream when creaming mashed potatoes - YUM! Milk that can't or won't be used (too old, not enough time to process it) can be used as a fertilizer!
