Maintenance - tow bar

We had noticed when we disconnected the tow bar at Benson that it was hard to get it to release - so we had on our "to-do" list to clean it.

Dwayne took care of the task on Friday.

We had towed from DFW down to Mustang Island on the Gulf in Texas and then all the way across to Arizona (from the Gulf of Mexico to Arizona without ever disconnecting). Going through the wind and blowing sand, plus a few times of rain that would kick up from the back of the motorhome onto the Jeep and tow bar, really had it filthy. We clean and lubricate it with a non-greasy formula that is recommended by the manufacturer.

We hope to have it inspected by Roadmaster when we are in Quartzsite.
