Goin' to Louisville (not us!)

This is Kendra's (nephew Ricky's wife's) last year of youth eligibility in breed shows, so based on her showing in the Virginia State Fair, they decided to take some of the cows to the North American International Livestock Exposition (http://www.livestockexpo.org/Default.aspx) which is in Louisville, KY, this year. Kendra has been making lists and checking them twice for the time we've been here (and probably before also!). They packed up and left today to go to Floyd, VA, to pick up two other cows, and then on to Louisville.

Regina's Virginia State Grand Champion cow, Melanie, is also going along to see how she can do at the national level.

Melanie seems to be saying "get me outta here!" or, "I thought we did this a few weeks ago!"

As they were preparing to go, Regina counseled Ricky to "drive safely, you have precious cargo!" We were then left to wonder exactly *which* precious cargo she was referencing!

Kendra and Ricky ready to go

And they're off!
