Moving furniture

Miss Daisy is configured with two rooms – the front room was set up as the kitchen and dining area, and the back was the living room, with the bed coming out of the ceiling. Since we wanted to use a sleep number (Select Comfort) mattress, which needs to have the air control attached, it wasn’t working well to have the bed going up and down, so we weren’t really using the back room as the living room.

While we were at the farm, Jimmy and Dwayne removed the table and cabinet it was attached to from the front, and we put it into the Jeep.  They then removed the “jack-knife” bed from the back and moved it to the front slide where the table had been. We then put our bed down on the floor for the remainder of our trip so we could see whether we want the bed to be cross-wise or front/back.

Right now the bed is cross-wise because it covers one of the heat registers if we put it front/back. Hopefully when we get to Livingston, we can try it front/back for a few days. Ultimately, we will put it up on a frame, with some storage (for the kitty privy, probably) underneath.
