Hopewell Rocks ROCKS! - Part 2 - Flower Pots

The Flower Pots are probably the most recognized formations in Hopewell Rocks.

Flower Pots from overlook at 1:34pm

Flower Pots from overlook at 6:32pm (just before we left the park)

Flower Pots from stairs further down at 4pm

Flower Pots from "ocean floor" at 4:27pm
The park has hours that walking on the "ocean floor" is allowed:
For today, the hours for walking on the ocean floor were from 4:09pm to 8pm (when the park closes)
time 16:15:20
It was possible to see the tide moving out. Dwayne started with his toes in the water as the wavelets came in. In under 2 minutes, the highest wavelets were now about a foot away from his toes!

Dwayne and Patti at the overlook

Dwayne and Patti on the ocean floor - and I'll use this to answer day 6 of the Facebook "pictures with your sweetie" challenge.
We found out that they had walking tours at high and low tide. We missed the high tide one, but joined the low tide one at 4:30pm.
When I (Patti) noticed that our guide, Fran, had a knee brace on, I had hopes I could keep up with her walking! (Unlike the young ranger at Alma Beach yesterday!) Fran did a GREAT job - very informative and entertaining.
We were walking in quite a lot of "oosh-goosh" - silt left behind by the tide. Dwayne had his rubber over-shoes and Patti got a cheap pair of croc-type shoes to wear.
