Friday
morning Ed, John, Kevin, Larry and I drove to the Tacoma Dome to visit the
LeMay America’s Car Museum. The museum
has four levels with each level displaying various cars and several
motorcycles. Included were classic cars,
British and American cars from the early 1900’s, NASCAR, powering the future
and Club Auto or the glory days along Route 66.
We spent a couple of hours admiring both American and British ingenuity
and design with a fore way back to those nostalgic years growing up when having
a good looking or unique car was the in-thing. Afterwards, Ed who is a native of Tacoma,
treated us to lunch at one of his favorite eateries, Johnny's Dock
Restaurant & Marina.
