Tuesday - Butchart Gardens and return to Anacortes

On Tuesday, we left the hotel relatively early to arrive at Butchart Gardens when they opened. We had read that it was better to visit before 10:30am or after 3:30pm, and since we would be heading to the ferry by mid-afternoon, we wanted to try to beat the crowds by being early. We got to the gardens just before they opened, and were able to have a couple of hours before it started getting crowded. We had also made a reservation for "Afternoon Tea" (we made the reservation for 11am) to give us a rest break in the middle of our time there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the gardens. So many pictures... again I made a video to allow you to get through them pretty quickly!

We returned to our RV park in Anacortes on Tuesday evening - exhausted but glad we took the opportunity to go to Vancouver Island.
