Passing through Leavenworth

On our way from Bow, WA to Quincy, WA on Friday, we were on US 2 and passing through Leavenworth, WA. This is the town that recreated itself as a Bavarian/German town which we visited last fall (http://trekincartwrights.blogspot.com/2017/09/leavenworth-day-2.html).

Dwayne fondly remembered a "Danish Bakery" (Danish is from Denmark, right? not Bavarian?). I remembered that there was a large vehicle parking area near the western edge of town,
...so we stopped there and walked to the bakery (burning a few calories before we consumed more!).
A couple of the German buildings...

As we walked into town...

We visited the bakery - Dwayne got Bavarian Waffles (with strawberry and cream filling) and I got Cream Bollen - delish! We also got a loaf of day-old cinnamon bread - yum!
