Visiting Victoria

On Monday, we took the Washington State Ferry from Anacortes to Victoria...

It was so pretty on the ferry - I made a video with the pictures and a video that we shot:

We arrived onto Vancouver Island in Sidney, B.C.

After driving to Victoria, we checked into our hotel, and then walked to the harbor. The ferry from Port Angeles was coming in (it comes right in to Victoria).

Sidewalk dining for a cafe with flowers all around.

The Fairmont Empress Hotel

Topiary

The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia

We wanted to walk to Fisherman's Wharf where the prettily painted houseboats are...

So pretty!

Another view as we got closer...

On the wharf, looking down the dock (like the street between the houses).

A hanging flower basket at the restaurant where we had fish 'n' chips.

We decided to take a water taxi back across the harbor.

Some more of the pretty houseboats...

The Marriott with a couple of the water taxis in front of it.

Our water taxi at our departure point - Chinatown.

We stopped for pastries - a chocolate eclair for me....

And an Earl Grey Lavender cake for Dwayne!
We had a wonderful day!
