Farm Science Review

On Monday evening, Dwayne was doing a chore on Miss Doozie and Keith was helping:
Cleaning area where chrome piece needs to go before re-applying adhesive.

Enjoying the sunset
On Tuesday, Keith and Ruth Ann drove us down to London, Ohio to attend the Farm Science Review (https://fsr.osu.edu/home).
I took a picture of the lane marker that was closest to where we parked, just in case we needed help finding the truck!

Dwayne stored the parking location on his phone (just in case!).
So many interesting things to see!!!

100 Years of Corn - The History of Corn from Stewart

"On the 8th day, God created orange tractors and saw that it was good."

Some farm equipment

There were various beef cattle on display - I took some pictures of some of the Herefords:

I'm not certain what this booth was displaying, but they had something like a putt-putt course that we tried out!

There were "Bill Dukeys" (Dwayne's name for narrow bladed shovels) as hazards on the "course" to the sides of where Dwayne was playing.

This was an example of cutting slices from a large tree on a specialized saw.

I liked this door that opened out so it created a shade/porch over the entrance of the building.

When we got back to Keith and Ruth Ann's place, there was a hot air balloon high in the sky above - Dwayne got a picture, but it was hard to get it in focus.

We have enjoyed the "air chairs" and other seating in the yard, having conversations, solving all the world's problems - if only we could get someone to listen to our solutions!
