Thursday night at Cabela's in Triadelphia, WV

We traveled east out of Ohio into West Virginia on Thursday, arriving in Triadelphia, WV in the evening. I had called and gotten permission to stay in the parking lot at Cabela's for the night.

We first went to visit a building that was on the edge of the parking lot - is that a auto repair place or an eating place?

Quaker Steak & Lube...

Then we walked over to Cabela's - Keith and Ruth Ann had told us that it was a pretty amazing Cabela's...
They had multiple fresh water aquariums...

... with lots of interesting fish...

These two were at the top so their reflection makes it look like there is another of the same fish swimming upside down on top of them.

A couple of turtles in with the fish.

There were so many mounted animals in the place - this was an African scene.

A big display in the middle.

The impact of America's Sportsmen on the preservation of wildlife.

More of the animals in a fall-type display...

... and around the corner the Polar Bears...

... and Musk Oxen.

and Miss Doozie out in the parking lot.
It was a good place to spend the night though the temperatures were a bit warm and weather a bit humid, and the trucks who joined us for the night ran their engines or the refrigerated trailers all night. We still got ok sleep and enjoyed the displays in the Cabela's.

We also learned that Cabela's has been bought out by Bass Pro Shops, so some of the Cabela's favorites (like the Bargain Cave) will be going away or only available in certain stores.
