On Friday, we decided to prioritize visiting the various RV stores and save the museum for last, since, if it got late, the museum would be open on Saturday, but some of the stores would not.
So we drove to White Pigeon, Michigan - first going to Bontrager's:
All sorts of RV mattresses and cushions... |
Cabinet doors... |
... as far as the eye can see! |
Trim pieces... |
Lights and reflectors of various types. And MORE! |
Then we continued on to Johnson's...
Dwayne took a picture of the emergency window latches as we have one that is broken and he wanted to see if it matched. |
Johnson's had lots of interesting things too... I just didn't take as many pictures!
Then to another RV Surplus store where we didn't take pictures...
... and then to Bradd & Hall where we tried out many different captain's chairs, but didn't decide on any. |
Finally we return to Miss Doozie who remained parked at the RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum. |
While we were gone, another Blue Bird owner couple who live nearby just happened to come to visit the museum and left a note for us on Miss Doozie's door! We were sorry to miss getting to see them.
More information on our visit to the RV/MH Hall of Fame and Museum in another post...

On Saturday morning, before we left the area, we drove Miss Doozie up to White Pigeon - so she entered Michigan (the last of the lower 48 for her!) and we got the window latches for the emergency window too! |
