We spent Sunday-Tuesday with the FMCA South Central Coaches for Christ Rally at Lake Conroe KOA. What a wonderful time of fellowship with other motor home owners who also are Christ-followers!
This was the 10th anniversary year for this chapter, and it was recognized with a plaque from FMCA as well as a nice celebration with several couples joining in who were part of the inaugural group who started the chapter. Some of them no longer have their motor homes, but they returned for this event and it was great to get to meet them.
We joined the Coaches for Christ chapter last year at their rally in Durant, OK that followed the Six State Rally in Shreveport. We had hoped to participate with other rallies with them this year - especially the national Coaches for Christ Rally that was held in conjunction with the FMCA National meeting in Madison, Wisconsin. But... we were busy getting the house ready for its new purpose, so that took priority. It was great to re-connect with folks we met last year and meet new folks also!
