We spent Friday night outside our house, parked on the street in Coppell. Probably not within the city ordinance, but it saved us a bit of time as driving to the RV Park on Sandy Lake, getting parked and set up, and then unhooking in the morning, probably takes about an hour. And being that we were right outside the house, we could work later and get up earlier to work too.
We got all the things that we wanted to get into the bus from the house, packed a few things to store in the attic, and got the rest of the things that we wanted to sell out of the attic so Helen, the estate sale lady, won't need to do it. The "front" attic (over the main part of the house) is almost completely empty now. The back part (over the garage) has a few boxes of things that we think we might want to trade-out once we are tired of the items we have with us in the bus.
We are overnighting tonight in the WalMart in Ennis, TX. There are a number of trucks here.
The trucks had all the parking places that were parallel to each other wrapped up, so I found a spot at the very end of the lot next to the street. |
Miss Kitty thinks driving this rig would be no big thing... |
Have fun and be safe. Also, make sure that you wave to the FedEx drivers!!
