Visit to FDR Little White House - part 4 - Legacy

FDR had a profound impact on people in the Warm Springs area. It was clear from the information we read and saw that he spent a lot of time with the people. He died at the Little White House and so left for the last time from Warm Springs and was mourned by the people as he went. One of the touching things in the last display room was the playing of "Goin' Home" which was played as the president's body passed before the patients who were there to receive exercise and therapy at the warm springs at Georgia Hall.
