Since I was still working, we decided that Dwayne should fly to
Virginia and stay with my brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Regina,
to check out the Trek that was for sale near Fredericksburg, VA. We made
arrangements to have the "house systems" inspected by an RV service
center in Virginia, and Jimmy was on board to check out the "motor" part
of the rig.

It was really clean! |

The manuals were available, though scant on maintenance records |

One of the dining room chairs still had the tag attached! |

Jimmy checked out the engine |
After the inspection, with additional conversation
with Glenn confirming that this was a good unit, we communicated with
the owner - the daughter of the original owners of the Trek; her parents
had passed away in the past couple of years, and the Trek was the last
part of their estate that she had to deal with. We made an offer, she
accepted, and the Trek was ours!
