Spring River RV Park

On our previous visits to Roswell, we have stayed at Midway RV Park (about 8 miles south of town) three times, and at Walmart when we were here in March. While we liked Midway RV Park and have met some folks with whom we still stay in contact, we were wanting a place closer into town and found Spring River RV Park that had a Passport America rate (1/2 price) - making full hookups cost us $20/night. A little more than Midway, but the convenience to town was worth giving it a try.

Reviews that I had read indicated that the park was just a gravel lot, and while that is true (we are parked on gravel), there are asphalt lanes for driving to/from the sites, and all the sites that I have seen are pull thrus with plenty of room that you don't need to unhook before parking your RV. It would be more pleasant here if it wasn't so hot (the asphalt and gravel and lack of trees don't particularly help with that!) and we could talk with neighbors. In the picture, Miss Doozie is just beyond the red Jeep (Jee-rage).
I would particularly like to find out more about the RV next to us. The name on the side is "Hi-Lo" and I found their website (http://www.hilotrailer.com/home). Hard to believe but they are still being made - since 1955 - 63 years! Looking at the "Hi-Lo Then" link, I think this one must be from somewhere around 1980.

We initially thought that it might have been a home-built trailer, but with the name on it, we've concluded that it might just be highly modified (window a/c's in the front and back windows, maybe the hose storage on the side).
My sweetie has gotten a couple of chores done since we've been here - including putting additional fluid into the Aqua-Hot system.

Mixing the 50/50 mix to go into the Aqua-Hot.
We're not exactly sure how the system lost fluid. We talked to an Aqua-Hot service person who was indicated as being in the Albuquerque area (he is currently traveling for the summer and happens to be in the Dallas area!), and he didn't think that we could be leaking fluid within the piping of the system (I'm not sure *why* he thought that was unlikely, it seems like getting leaks in other plumbing is unfortunately common in these beasts!) - and recommended that we add fluid and see if it stays full.
