Another lovely day in Freedom

We woke up this morning to a beautiful calm day and the loons calling.
The water on the lake was like glass.

Gracie just wants someone to play ball with her!

Annie would prefer to nap.

Dennie made us wonderful blueberry pancakes with wild Maine blueberries that Jim had picked on their property!

Jim with his winning teeshirt design from Freedom Old Home Week 2014 - "A Place For All Seasons"

Jim said that he has had to replace the top board on the gate from the deck toward the dock multiple times - he has tried adding a sign prohibiting chewing... I said it looked like it was working, but he said the board behind has just recently been replaced, after the previous board (with the "No Chewing" sign on top) had been chewed...

A view of the "camp" from the lake. Miss Doozie is on the far left of this picture - you might just be able to see a little bit of red of the Jeep behind her...

We had a great time with Jim and Dennie and hope to visit with them again sometime!

After leaving their "camp", we headed just a short ways up the road to Windham, ME, where we are stopped at a WalMart. We stocked up on supplies, and were in the rig when we noticed a car driving slowly past and then stopping and turning around for a second look. We went out to chat, and found fellow Bluebird owners, Mark and Donna. They have a '95 Wanderlodge and live right here in Windham!
