Visiting with friends in Canandaigua

We had wanted to come to the Finger Lakes area of New York to visit one of Patti's former co-workers who lives on Canandaigua Lake - Barbara and her husband David. We had seen pictures of their view but the view in person is so gorgeous! Their son, Zach, took us out for a ride on the lake - what a beautiful day!

Coming back in to the dock - Barb and David's house is just behind, you may be able to see the "Jee-rage" in the driveway. Their boathouse is the grey with white trim, and they have the property from there to the left to the tree at the edge of the picture.

 We had planned to watch the fireworks at Geneva with the Van Laeken's but decided that discretion was the better part of valor and that it would be better for Dwayne (and Patti) to get good rest for the night. So, we didn't see the fireworks, but we sure did have a great day with Barb and David and two of their kids and friends!
