Moved to Trenton (Maine) and started our visit to Acadia

The check in time for our campground in Trenton, ME was noon, so we arrived at about 12:03pm and got checked in, hooked up, and settled in.

We stopped at the National Park Visitor Center and watched a film about Acadia. After it finished, a ranger told us about the routes to drive, hike, bike, etc. in the park. We purchased a travel guide CD that we could play in the Jeep that would tell us about the various sites we would see.

"Porcupine" islands and Bar Harbor, ME

My honey taking pictures of Cadillac Mountain (the CD promises that we will find out why it has that name, but we didn't get that far today!)

I think this was called Canadian Lily - it was at the Wild Gardens of Acadia at Sieur de Monts - which is the last stop we made on the Park Road today. We decided we were tired and hungry! We hope to do more of the tour tomorrow!

We stopped at The Chart Room for lobster and scallops for dinner - YUM!
