The check in time for our campground in Trenton, ME was noon, so we arrived at about 12:03pm and got checked in, hooked up, and settled in.
We stopped at the National Park Visitor Center and watched a film about Acadia. After it finished, a ranger told us about the routes to drive, hike, bike, etc. in the park. We purchased a travel guide CD that we could play in the Jeep that would tell us about the various sites we would see.

"Porcupine" islands and Bar Harbor, ME |

My honey taking pictures of Cadillac Mountain (the CD promises that we will find out why it has that name, but we didn't get that far today!) |

I think this was called Canadian Lily - it was at the Wild Gardens of Acadia at Sieur de Monts - which is the last stop we made on the Park Road today. We decided we were tired and hungry! We hope to do more of the tour tomorrow! |

We stopped at The Chart Room for lobster and scallops for dinner - YUM! |
